Using the “European History Interactive Map” link on the right hand side of my website explore the years prior to and just after the end of WWI.

Interactive Map Analysis Questions:
What are some of the major changes to the European political landscape?

For Example:
1. What new countries emerge from the war?
2. Which countries lose significant territory, and what territory did they lose?
3. Which countries had the most significant death tolls?
4. Looking at the death tolls from WWI, what stats cause you to rethink your understanding of what happened in WWI? (This is an open ended question. There is no one right answer.)

5. Review Question: Why would Germany be unsatisfied with the new political boundaries following WW1 ?
